Option 1 (Best & Most Accurate):
½ cup whole milk
½ cup heavy cream
(Makes 1 cup half-and-half substitute.)
¾ cup whole milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
Measure ½ cup whole milk into a measuring cup.
Add ½ cup heavy cream.
Stir or whisk until fully combined.
Use in place of 1 cup half and half in any recipe.
