This classic deviled eggs recipe is creamy, simple, and made from scratch with just a few pantry staples. These easy deviled eggs are perfect for holidays, cookouts, or a quick snack, and always turn out smooth, flavorful, and never dry.

  • 6 large hard-boiled eggs, peeled

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

  • Paprika, for garnish

  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons pickle juice or 1 tablespoon sweet relish

Instructions

  1. Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise.

  2. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Set the egg whites aside.

  3. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.

  4. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.

  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.

  6. Sprinkle paprika over the tops.

  7. Chill until ready to serve and enjoy.
