Creamy shrimp Alfredo made from scratch with simple ingredients. This easy 30-minute pasta dinner is rich, garlicky, and better than restaurant-style Alfredo.
12 oz fettuccine
1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
3 tbsp butter
2 cups heavy cream
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
Cook shrimp in butter until pink. Remove.
Add butter and garlic to pan, cook briefly.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer.
Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
Add pasta and shrimp, toss to combine.
Serve warm.
