Easy homemade brown sugar made with just white sugar and molasses. Create light or dark brown sugar in minutes using tools you already have.
1–2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons = dark brown sugar
Mix until the molasses is fully combined and the sugar is evenly brown.
By hand: Use a fork or whisk and mash out any clumps.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container.
For best results, let the sugar sit covered for 5 minutes, then remix.
