Loaded Sweet Potato (Texas Roadhouse Copycat Recipe)

This loaded sweet potato recipe is soft, fluffy, and topped with butter, brown sugar, marshmallows, and cinnamon honey butter. A sweet and savory Texas Roadhouse copycat you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Wash and dry your sweet potatoes thoroughly.

  3. Pierce each potato several times with a fork.

  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 45–60 minutes, until fork-tender.

  5. Remove from oven and slice open lengthwise.

  6. Fluff the inside gently with a fork.

  7. Add butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

  8. Top with marshmallows if using.

  9. Return to oven for 2–3 minutes, until marshmallows are soft and lightly golden.

  10. Serve warm.
